Brussels, Belgium, 11/15 - Somali Prime Minister Ali Muhammad Gedi is expected in Brussels Tuesday on a two-day working visit, the European Union (EU) said in a statement in the Belgian capital Monday.

He is expected to hold talks with the EU Commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid, Louis Michel, on the political situation in Somalia, the statement added.

The EU recently urged the Somali cabinet and other arms of the transitional government to move to Mogadishu.

It also called on all warring factions in the country to embrace national reconciliation.
